Ohiwa Ridge is located in New Zealand's Bay of Plenty on the east coast of the North Island.

It is conveniently situated for international visitors - being only a 40 minute flight from Auckland International Airport to Whakatane - and a further 30 minutes by road.

Opotiki (12km) Opotiki is located at the junction of the Waioeka and the Otara rivers, and is the ‘Gateway’ for exploring the beautiful East Cape. The town offers a quaint historic main street that includes a character filled movie theatre.

Gisborne (180km) Gisborne, the first city in the world to see the sun each day. It is a sunny coastal town that offers excellent outdoor activities (especially surfing) as well as good access to a number of superb wineries – famous for their world class chardonnay.
